Hello Family! Seems like these come faster and faster every week! Especially this week though, because not much happened this week. Kind of uneventful. But still, we filled it up with the work of the Lord, and that always helps!
So the way things got scheduled this week, we were in Momos for a lot of time this week. We always head here on Mondays and head back Tuesdays, because the travel system is not very reliable to get to our area. (Basically it is if someone happens to go there, we hitch a ride on the back of their truck.) The thing is that we had a Zone Conference set up for Thursday. So we came down on Monday Morning and left for Pancà Tuesday Afternoon, and then returned again to Momos on Thursday morning and returned that afternoon. So we spent a lot of time here, which is hard for me. I always like knowing what I am doing, and actually doing it. And when i have to wait here for an unreliable truck to take me back, it is a little rough. But I make the best of it, and hey, it will help me work on my patience too, so it`s all good!
On Thursday night, we had a FHE with an investigator family and a Less Active family! It went really well! We brought some church videos about the BoM to share, and then both Elder Maldonado and I shared our testimonies. It was crazy too, because with both families combined, there were about 20 of us there! A lot of people to hear the Gospel, I love it! I feel like the less active family heard it really well and applied it, because we ended up seeing them at church this week! Also, we left a BoM with Cruz, the father of the investigator family, and he said that he would read it! So hopefully this will turn into something really good!
The day after this though, was not that good. I woke up feeling a little queasy, so I layed down and took a little nap. Not 20 minutes passed that I woke up suddenly, and 5 seconds later I was outside throwing up. It wasn`t good at all. So on Friday we stayed home and rested, because I was feeling awful. the weird thing is, that I don`t even know what it is from, because I have eaten the same things that I have eaten the whole time. But oh well. Thank goodness, the next day I was feeling a lot better, so it was just a one day thing. So don`t worry too much, I am a lot better now, but it was just a weird day.
Not much else to report. I am hoping that things will develop with Cruz and his family. But other than that, we are helping the members out here, and helping reactivate the less active members. I still feel way blessed to be in the area I am in. The people there are just so nice! And they are really willing to come to church too! We had 98 reported people come to church this week, which is a TON for Pancà! I hope that my efforts will continue to bless those here! I really am starting to love the people here of Guatemala, and I hope that it will continue for the rest of my mission! I lvoe you guys! thank you so much for your support always, and I will look forward to next week! Until Next Time!

Crazy Week!
Hello Family! Well, it is already this time again, it seems like these Monday´s come faster every week! And as of yesterday, I have been four months out on my mission already! It seems so crazy that four months have already passed! That means that 1/6 of my mission has already come and gone! Kind of puts it into perspective, doesn´t it? But that just means that I have to work my butt off for the rest of it! So here we go!
P.S. I forgot to put the scripture in the weekly email, but here it is: 3 Nephi 13: 31-33. Also a Bonus! 1 Nephi 13: 37
This week was really crazy! But I´m gonna start on Wednesday, because that was a really eventful day. So Elder Maldonado and I had to travel to Momos for divisions. I was going to split with our District Leader and take him up to Pancá for the baptismal interview that we had set up. So we got to Momos Wednesday morning, and made the splits. Elder Andrade (My district Leader) and I got in a car that was about to leave for Pancá. While we were waiting, the car started to rock, which I didn´t think anything of it. I just thought it was someone getting in or out of the car. But then I looked at a building behind me, and metal poles on the top of it were shaking. Everyone in the truck was saying that it was an Earthquake! It went on for about 20 seconds, then stopped. Nothing too bad happened in Momos where we were, but according to everything that we heard, it was pretty bad in San Marcos, where the Epicenter was. So I was okay, but I definitely felt it.
We finally got to Pancá, and whenever we visited someone, the Earthquake was all everyone was talking about. It was crazy to hear all about it. Elder Andrade got a call from the AP´s, and they said that they definitely felt it in Xela. But I guess I don´t know exactly. Later in the day, we headed over to Antonio Pu Mejia´s house, where his neice, Victorina, was waiting for the baptismal interview. Let me back up a little bit. Last time that we visited them, Elder Maldonado said that we would cut the hair of some of the kids, because he has a hair cutter machine to do it. Well you probably see the problem, that Elder Maldonado wasn´t going to be there. So he told me to do it! So while Elder Andrade was holding the interview with Victorina, I cut the hair of two of the boys there! My first time, and it wasn´t to shabby! Definitely not perfect though! Haha but while I was cuting the hair, they turned on the news so we could hear more about the Earthquake. It was crazy to see the destruction in San Marcos, and know that it isn´t that far away! Crazy Stuff!
The interview went all according to plan, and this Friday, we had a combined activity at the church! First thing was the baptism of Victorina, which was absolutely amazing. I still can´t believe how blessed I have been to have so many souls come to Christ already! I hope that it continues! Afterwards, the Relief Society held a welcoming party type thing for her, and all the Branch was invited! It was so cool to see so many people in one chapel basically in the middle of nowhere, all together in Spirit. It really made me appreciate the Gospel that much more in my life!
So yeah, pretty eventful week! Everything is good here, so you dont need to worry! I´m continuing strong and doing the work of the Lord! I love it here! Thank you all for your support and care for me this week! I love you all and will talk to you all next week! Until Next Time!

All Safe in Quetzaltenango
If you haven't heard, there was an earthquake off the coast of Guatemala. This letter was sent to the parents of the missionaries in that area to assure them that all missionaries are safe and accounted for!
Good afternoon parents and leaders,
We have been receiving phone calls of many worried parents because of the earthquake that happened yesterday morning,
We would like to let you all know that we have spoken with all of the missionaries in the mission and they are all safe and working.
We consider it a blessing that all of the missionaries have been protected and safe from any harm, we would also like to thank the
parents and local leaders for their concern.
We thank you all for your support for the Elders and Sisters of this mission.
on behalf of,
Mission Quetzaltenango

Quick Letter
Hi Family! Sorry about the lateness, but we had to go unexpectedly yesterday, so I only have a little time today. Not much to report, just the usual. We do have a date for the 9 of November for a sister named Victoriana, who is a family friend of the Pu Mejia Family. I`ll be sure to tell you more about it when I can. Sorry this is so short, but I don`t have to much time. Next week will be better! Thanks always for the support! Until Next Time!

Just Another Week!
Hello Family! Well, it is this time of week again, so that means another letter home! I have to apologize in advance though, because this week wasn`t very exciting, so there isn`t going to be very much to write about!
While most everyone else had changes, nothing changed for me! I`m still in Pancà with Elder Maldonado, working hard! This week has been a little rough though, because not much really happened. We visited a lot of less active members, and some our investigator family, and they are doing good, just not moving very fast. But moving slow is a whole lot better than not moving at all! I keep telling myself that whenever I get a little bit discouraged. I hope that every little thing that I do will have just a little impact for them!
We found another investigator this week! A really good friend of the Pu Mejia family (my first converts) has been attending church for the past two weeks, and even attended the baptism of the Pu Imul kids! We just had Family Home Evening with the Pu Mejia family on Thrusday, and she was there for it. So she seems really interested in the Church, so hopefully that will lead to something big!
For this sunday, Elder Maldonado and I went to Xepòn (another area close to us) because the missionaries there asked us to come and participate in the Choir there! The real reason is that they needed Elder Maldonado to play the piano, so I just tagged along, and ended up singing in the choir with them! It was way fun and such a neat experience, (even if the Latinos here aren`t the best singers, but don`t tell them that I said that.. haha)
So yeah... not much going on, just continuing in the work of the Lord! I love it a lot, and hope it keeps going as well has it has! I love you guys! My scripture for this week is D+C 20:37. This is the scripture that the baptismal interview is based off of. It is a nice to review it every once in a while, and know what we should be doing! Once again, I love you guys!
Until Next Time
